No market for BFF tomorrow

We have exciting things going on in the greenhouse! For instance, the tomatoes are finally starting to turn red! Since we are not attending the market tomorrow, just because I need a day off, maybe I'll be able to bring some of these beauties to the market next weekend.

I did a regular harvest today to keep the greenhouse growing cycle on track. We'll be eating a lot of lettuce, I think :)

The sweet peppers are growing nicely, and we should have some of these to bring to the market soon, as well. The cucumbers continue to produce, which is awesome, since they're my favorite veggie! The broccoli, cauliflower and brussels sprouts are growing like gangbusters. Since I haven't grown any of these plant before, in the greenhouse or the traditional soil garden, I have no idea if they are growing correctly. I guess we'll find out soon enough :) The two green bean plants have produced lots of beans for snacking and a few meals. Putting this into our rotation is something we'll have to consider for future growing seasons.

Even though we won't be there, we still encourage everyone to make it to the @CambridgeFarmersMarket tomorrow. It's in the City Center Co-Op parking lot from 9 am to 1 pm. Plenty of vendors will be there with a great variety of items to offer!

Have a wonderful weekend, safe holiday, and enjoy whatever you're doing! See you next week.
