Ready for the first indoor market of the season?

What a great day for an indoor farmers market! Not very nice outside, but it will be perfect conditions inside for browsing the vendor booths at the Shoreview Indoor Farmers Market. The market is in the upper level of the Shoreview Community Center from 3:00 to 6:00 today.

We'll be there with our usual freshly harvested aquaponically grown lettuce, kale, cucumbers and peppers, as well as radish and kale microgreens. Let's not forget the baked goodies: this week is apple fritter bread and pumpkin muffins. Yummy!

Come and check us out. If you haven't tried our produce, I guarantee you'll love it and want to come back for more! I'm still amazed by the wonderful flavor of the microgreens, and appreciate the fact they are so packed with nutrients. They can be added to salads, sandwiches, dips and spreads, sauces, soups, stews. Just about anything!

Today marks the one year anniversary of Bright Future Farms attending a farmers market. What an accomplishment!

Happy voting everyone, and have a great day!
