Yesterday I picked up another batch of tilapia fingerlings and got them acquainted with their new home. It's always nerve-wracking bringing them home, getting them acclimated, feeding them and making sure they are okay before heading in for the night. Going back out in the morning is even worse, hoping that they all survived their first night!
These tiny tots are about an inch long and weigh less than 1 gram each. Before you know it they will be contributing to the biological formula that takes the nutrients from their waste and turns it into food for all of the plants in our system. I love this science!
